I was actually wondering... How well do you know Dorian, and the country he comes from?

Dorian I know a little, between this version we know here and one I briefly knew in the fleet. He was involved with the Inquisition, which was not something I needed to be anywhere near...for reasons I wish not to discuss.

Tevinter, however, I know a bit better both between my own efforts and the information of another who came from there. Was there something you were curious about?

I was thinking about trying to make him a meal from Tevinter, or as close as I can approximate. As a surprise.

Would you be able to help any with that?

That's....incredibly thoughtful, I'm sure he'll appreciate it.

I think I can dredge up some memories of a few Tevene foods. I can't promise their full legitimacy, but the concepts should be sound.

Pastries, flaky things baked with honey and nuts. Some with figs or dates in them as well.

There's also a few fish dishes that we may be able to piece together, if you're interested in something more substantial.

There's a sort of fish with unleavened bread and lemons dish, and a fish marinated in fruit, and a simple fish with seasoned roots.

We're pretty sure how to make most but the unleavened bread, you might need to buy that.

[He sends over a recipe, fairly short, with a list of seasonings -both a cinnamon based variant and a garlic based variant- and instructions for the cooking and preparing for the fish, though it's designed to be done over flame rather than the stove.]

The spices and the fish are the key part, I imagine any flair of your own you'd like to throw in will go over well.
