It's two in the morning and Adalwolfe can't get back to sleep.

Fighting the nightmare not long ago has him reeling still and thinking periodically on his experience in the Fade a few years ago now. The things he'd seen and realized. One such thing was a scribbled page in a rotting book, the cover off and many pages mashed together or falling out. This singular one had been legible though, and after Lavellan read it, Hawke had asked to keep it himself. He no longer has it, obviously. The Fleet had brought him with few belongings and Duplicity again with even fewer, but the memory of the journal entry is there. Something he'd been meaning to ask Anders about for its familiarity. And for reasons of his continued disquiet, it now haunts his memory again.

"Anders," he whispers softly, trying to be as inobtrusive as possible and not wake his love if he is indeed asleep. "Are you awake?"
